Bialetti MokaPot

Invented in 1933 by Italian engineer Alfonso Bialetti, this stovetop coffee maker takes its name from the Yemeni city of Mocha. It brews coffee by passing boiling water pressurised by steam through a bed of coffee, resulting in an espresso-like coffee that is characterized by its heavy body and light crema.

Pairing this with hot milk is one of the best ways to get a latte-like drink at home without spending a lot of money on an espresso machine.

This Moka Pot has a maximum capacity of 300mL, more than enough for two servings of coffee.
